Explore how a familiar card game such as 'Top Trumps' can be used to support Foundation to Year 4 students to collect, sort, represent, compare and interpret data. Participants will consider how students can use themed card decks to investigate questions, identify patterns, compare values, create data displays and justify decisions using evidence. The session also includes ways students can create their own card decks, use digital tools to represent data and connect the activity with Science and Digital Technologies.
