Volume of a cylinder inquiry
The lesson aims to challenge students' thinking about integers and the volume of cylinders. It allows students to explore what is meant by mathematical proof. Students work collaboratively, following guided questions to explore the relationships between the coefficients of a quadratic equation. The lesson is aimed to challenge students' thinking, encouraging them to explore and deepen their conceptual understanding. The resource includes classroom examples, teacher notes and guided questions.
