Probability inquiry
A sequence of lessons designed to build student understanding of probability. By exploring different questions that students pose from the given prompts, the inquiry can cover many areas. Students may choose to work individually or in pairs throughout the lesson to build on their understandings. Examples of student questions and responses are provided, with visuals to guide the teacher to build and develop student understanding of the topic. Additionally, a prompt sheet and PowerPoint have been provided.
