These 3 lessons targeting students at Year 8 can be used as standalone lessons or as a sequence of lessons to develop understandings and proficiency in data sampling methods and conducting a statistical investigation. Students learn about the ethics of collecting data and whether random samples represent a population, explore sample size and conduct surveys. They analyse and report on the distribution.
