This guide provides a sequence of small steps for exploring and becoming confident in describing position in the first quadrant, translation with coordinates and applying understanding of symmetry when exploring reflection with coordinates.

Construct a grid coordinate system that uses coordinates to locate positions within a space; use coordinates and directional language to describe position and movement
